Bircher Muesli


Oats Apple juice Lemon juice Plain Yoghurt An apple, grated Other fresh fruit (whatever you have on hand). Berries are excellent, so are bananas, pears, nectarines, plums, peaches, blueberries, even apples chopped, in addition to the grated). Optional Dried fruit, i.e. figs or apricots. Also nuts, if you like 1. Soak oats in apple juice and a few squeezes of lemon juice overnight (just enough liquid to make it quite moist). Cover and put in fridge 2. Next morning, take out the bowl and stir it all up. Add grated apple and yoghurt. Stir.Add fruit and/or chopped/ground nuts.
